When designing Savage Writing, my focus was communicating the information about the writer Robert E. Howard in a visually interesting format. Each section utilizes strong imagery related to content of the category. Instead of requiring the user to navigate through multiple pages of content, the layout is a local-scrolling vertical design. By incorporating the local scrolling interface, the user recieves visual interactivity when navigating through the website. In order to create visual interest, the content for the website was designed for a 3-column grid. The header is always present on the top of the screen to allow the user instant access to navigate to their point of interest within the website.
